APS6 Payroll Manager – $84,457.00 to $93,365.00

Duties The Financial & Commercial Services Unit manages the AIHW’s finances in line with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act). The unit consists of seven staff who are responsible for providing financial and payroll services, support and advice to all of the AIHW’s internal and external stakeholders. The Financial & Commercial Services Unit is seeking a highly capable and experienced APS6 Payroll Manager who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, sound judgement, commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to work with limited direction. To be successful in this role, you will have capability and experience in interpreting relevant legislation and industrial documents, carrying out payroll transactions, undertaking and quality assuring payroll processes during and at the end of each pay cycle, and identifying, developing and implementing enhancements to existing processes. You will also be confident in resolving problems and providing clear, constructive and timely advice and feedback.
