We are currently using our data in a traditional way and the successful candidate will play a key role in planning the future Big Data (BD) architecture, BD and Business Intelligence (BI) transformation projects and data lake framework. The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Support the Chief Technology Officer to engage the business and senior leadership team to assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure need Translate business requirements into a BD architecture, design and develop ELT, load into a data lake framework and validate results with business representatives Manage delivery of BD and BI projects through effective leadership of Agile processes Provide advice and solutions to the business on how to utilise information within existing enterprise information systems Establish and maintain policies, standards, processes, including SLAs, for BD/BI and ensure all governance and compliance obligations are met Build, maintain, operate, improve and protect the BD/BI technology environment, and all information and data feeds, that is stable, fit for current and future purpose and use in a cost effective way To be considered we are looking for the following attributes: Demonstrated experience in build, lead and implement BD projects 10+ years hands on experience in BD/BI design, solution architecture and programme/project management Strong ELT skills, expert knowledge on all big data, in memory database technologies and Hadoop design principles Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of BD/BI related policies and standards Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies Expert knowledge in Data Mining and Data Auditing Excellent communication and project management skills Why work for Australian Hearing?
