Bushfire threatening properties at Penrith, NSW RFS issues emergency warning

Properties are at risk from an out-of-control bushfire burning near Cranebrook, north of Penrith, the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) has warned.

An emergency warning was issued for multiple bushfires at Smeeton Road just after 3:30pm.

The RFS has warned residents in the area of Smeeton Riad, Londonderry and Cranebrook to protect themselves from the heat of the fire and seek shelter if the fire front moves in.
