Within the resort, guests may find a tranquil escape in Chi, The Spa. DUTIES His/her primary duty is to produce the best quality food items available. He/she will work closely with the Chef de Partie to assure a smooth operation in all aspects of the Kitchen. The image of Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa should be reflected at all times through fresh, correctly and hygienic prepared food to a quality of the highest standards. He/she must have a helpful attitude, extending beyond guest’s expectations. It should be noted that a Service Associate – Commis will be designated in charge of any area at any time and therefore must have a full and comprehensive working knowledge of all areas within the Culinary Department REQUIREMENTS
Experience in an International Hotel or a Reputable Restaurant is an advantage
Must have knowledge and experience in cooking seafood cuisine.
Knowledgeable with good practice of Hygiene and Sanitation.
Flexible and adaptable to different working locations.
Displays initiative and creativity.
Guest-oriented, team player and has eye for details.
