Missing your NRL? Stuck in isolation with nothing for you or the kids to do? Well, we’ve got you covered with an activity that can help keep everyone occupied.

Resident sport artist Scott ‘Boo’ Bailey has made this week’s It’s A Funny Game cartoon strip a dedicated Colour-In Isolation Edition, where readers can colour in each of the 16 NRL teams’ mascots.

Simply download the artwork here, print it out and get scribbling away.

Then, when you’re finished, take a photo of your Funny Game colour-in to [email protected] and we’ll publish the best ones in The Daily Telegraph on Friday, April 3.

With things uncertain on when the NRL season may resume, mascots will have to remain on alert for when they may be again required to don their clubs’ famous suits.

They could follow the guidance of Hayden Knowles, the head of performance at Penrith and the NSW State of Origin team, who has revealed the advice he’ll give to Panthers and Blues players as they prepare to spend months in isolation.

Fans will be hoping all these mascots have jobs to go back to once the coronavirus threat subsides. NRL CEO Todd Greenberg has expressed his concern over the future of Sydney clubs — including Sparky’s Eels, Brutus’s Bulldogs and Claws’ Panthers — with their respective leagues clubs forced to closed because of COVID-19.

Speaking of Claws, it’s unsure whether he is part of the Penrith staff who have vowed to work for free, despite being stood down from official duties, as they look to have the Panthers prepared for a premiership assault the moment the 2020 NRL season comes back online.
