NBA ejecting pro Hong Kong fans proves ‘money is worth more than virtue’

The IPA’s Evan Mullholand says the NBA’s move to throw out fans from games who make political statements about Hong Kong proves “money is worth more than virtue”.

China cancelled broadcasting select NBA games after the coach of the Houston Rockets posted a pro-Hong Kong tweet.

“The NBA-China relationship is worth about $4 billion. We saw an example of the NBA moving an entire game in Charlottesville over the state’s attitudes towards gender-neutral bathrooms,” he said.

“It’s utter cowardice” from the NBA.

Commercial Litigator Caroline Di Russo said, “this here really turns out to be interests informing principles and not the other way around.”
