Senior Commercial Analyst – Networks/OWS Evaluations (12 months fixed term)

As the Senior Commercial Analyst – Networks/OWS Evaluations, you will be providing commercial input into the development and assessment of pricing strategies and initiatives for a portfolio of OWS customer accounts; and OWS strategic projects and product development across the entire OWS portfolio of fixed, mobile & satellite services. You will be responsible for proactively engaging with Senior Management, Sales & Marketing as well as the customer to develop pricing strategies and structures that meet customer requirements while delivering against OWS financial & non-financial targets for these customer portfolios driving sustainable and profitable growth. In order to provide and present commercial input into the development of pricing strategies, initiatives and product launch propositions, you will need to develop an understanding of their customers’ strategy, requirements, market positioning and their business model, as well as their strategic fit within OWS and performances against targets. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Commercial evaluation of strategic projects, pricing and product developments and investments through financial modelling and business case assessment
  • In collaboration with Sales and Marketing, recommend and present commercially viable pricing solutions and strategies for customer proposals
  • Commercial evaluation of standard pricing for a suite of allocated products
  • Ongoing assessment of customer’s portfolio performance to assist delivery against targets.
  • Provide Commercial assessment of customer for input into development of pricing strategies & initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Corporate Finance and Commercial Divisions
  • Support Commercial outcomes in Fixed, Mobile and/or Satellite strategic initiatives/opportunities
  • Deliver on Customer Experience targets

What makes you perfect for the role? In this 12 month fixed term opportunity, you will play key role and an integral member of the team. The successful individual will work autonomously and will be required to communicate with various senior stakeholders, additionally possessing:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting and/or Business
  • Professional Accreditation (CIMA / CA / CPA)
  • Previous financial analysis, budgeting & reporting experience
  • Telecommunications, Insights, Strategy experience
  • Proven attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking with the ability to conceptualise and create alternatives.
  • Initiative to improve processes
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft applications – advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • TM1 and SQL experience highly advantageous
  • Strong commitment and high levels of personal motivation and energy
