A woman was allegedly hit over the head with an object and sexually assaulted by a man wearing a black mask in Adelaide’s north this morning, police say.

- The man is believed to have spoken in a foreign language, as well as English
Police are investigating the incident, which allegedly occurred at Munno Para, in Adelaide’s north, about 7:00am this morning.
Police said the woman was walking along a path in a wetlands area near Ramsar Road when she was allegedly hit in the head with an unknown object and sexually assaulted.
They said the suspect then ran away from the area and the woman was treated for her injuries at hospital before being released.
The suspect has been described as being about 170cm tall with a tanned complexion and medium build, and was wearing a black mask across the lower half of his face.
Police said he was also wearing a hooded jumped and dark-coloured pants.
The man is believed to have spoken in a foreign language but also in English.
Police have called for any witnesses, anyone who has seen a man matching the description or has dashcam footage from the area to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
