A woman is being treated after an incident on a ride at the Royal Adelaide Show, the SA Ambulance Service says.

The spokesperson said the ride was closed following the incident and was undergoing precautionary checks.

It comes amid heightened focus on safety, with four rides banned by SafeWork SA from this year’s show.
